In 1986 two people started a computer white collar crime detection and prevention company in Sydney Australia. The
concept of using computers to track and prevent this criminal element that
was starting to gain ground in the halls of government and corporations, netting
the perpetrators millions of dollars being removed by stealth was too much to
conceive. Thiscriminal was being
allowed to operate because of bureaucratic ability to withstand the need for
change to a pending computer age as was the situation in the private sector (
and is still very much in that arena) with CEO’s and senior management afraid
of computers and the though of being trained to operate let alone nderstand
them generated sheer terror. They
left all that up to the back room boys to run their own race out of control
with a niaeve management quite happy being told “all is Ok we know what we are doing” With
the cold war over, the spy networks were falling apart which caused a glut of
highly trained operatives with nothing to do. Hence the new age industrial
espionage and white collar criminal networks had a new group of expertise on
the streets. After
many successful criminal cases under their belt, of which most were off shore,
as Australia, right up to 1999, had no idea how to trial, let alone handle
computer crime, and lets not forget the buddy system of CEO’s that reigns. But
the international arena did not mess about, with many clients from many
countries utilised the services of these two Aussies for many years who had
their finger on the button and the much needed ability. The
bottom line from all of this is that having 30 years self employed and a
massive amount of computer technology under the belt, plus databases of
information that would fill a building if it were on paper, also the fact
that he has had enough of the industry now reaching 60 years of age, the idea
to form “Aussiewatch” was born. Not
without many friends who share this common interest of exposing the hidden and
frightening facts of governments and corporation wishing to keep information
from the public, plus the lies told to keep from exposing clandestine
operations for many and varied projects about self preservation. Corruption,
mass cover-ups, you name it, because it is going on and the public seem
content to let this happen. Our
forefathers did not fight for and work this great country to see what now has
happened to their homeland. Gangs rule the streets, corruption is rampant, 1000’s
of people are living on the streets, poverty is rife, and the minority groups
are dictating to the power hungry pollies and multinationals, and we stand
still while all this is going on around us, the good people are being walked
all over and dictated to. All
is not doom and gloom though, but facts are facts, and that is where “Aussiewatch”
comes into play. Lets get on with exposing and eradicating the bad issues by
replacing them with decent good old common sense and get this over governed country
out of the hands of greed and return it to the Australian people. This is the
lucky country, but the lights are dimming, the generator need an overhaul to spark back up. It is time to
get rid of the truly greed and start looking to the truly needy and that is
the majority of Australians. With
a little effort, spreading the word, joining our subscribers list, talking to
each other, telling friend about us all, people power will prevail and maybe,
just maybe, we can reclaim Australia back to the track until we were adopted
the “She’ll be alright mate”. The
internet is one of the last frontier where the power mongers cannot stifle or
control like they are doing with the media in this country. Never think we
have freedom of speech, it is not an option politicians will allow the public,
law suits, frightened editor, big corporation control, it all is very real
and alive in Australia. Aussiewatch
